Ibis Budget Basel City ★★

📍 Grosspeterstrasse 12, Basel

"It was very well located, close to a tram stop but also close to the center if you want to go there by foot. It was overall great for a short stay. Two things that I may have feedback on is the bathroom was in the room, not really a separate room as it should be and also no hairdryer, but you can request oneby leaving a deposit"

B&B Hotel Basel ★★★
"Had a wonderful stay at B&B HOTEL Basel! The hotel was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is convenient, with easy access to public transport and the city centre. The rooms were cozy and quiet, perfect for resting after a long day of travelling around Switzerland. We especially appreciated the cleanliness and the comfortable beds. Great value for money in Basel. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Basel!"

"Came for Art Basel Basel. Super conveniently situated next door to the fair ground. Service and room is pretty ordinary you wouldn’t really come here unless absolutely necessary."

Aparthotel Adagio Basel City ★★★
"The hotel is conveniently located close to the city and has its own parking lot. We booked a triple room, but found after checking in that the sofa bed was not ready yet. The reception gave us the sheets and we had to make the bed ourselves. When checking out, I asked whether the city tax should be paid by cash or credit card and was told that the accounts were messed up. Asked how much we paid, in Euros or Francs"

Grand Hotel les Trois Rois ★★★★★
"Our stay at the Hotel le Trois Rois was one of the best parts of our two-week holiday. The word "grand" in the name doesn't do this hotel justice. Our room (#117) was absolutely the most beautiful room I have ever been in. The entire property - and staff - is just exceptional."

Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel ★★★
"Rarely take the time to review hotels these days, as I typically stay in chain hotels, where the staff are indifferent at best, unless you are paying the highest rates; however, I can not speak highly enough of the staff at Steinenschanze, who still seem to genuinely care about guest experience. Check-in was detailed, personal, and included a free drink despite my late arrival time. They obviously had my special requests for an iron on record, as a team member made sure to bring it to my room each work day without me even asking. There are no hidden, stacking charges for things like machine coffees, and the communal facilities themselves such as the are kept in pristine condition, such as the beautiful garden area. The room was cozy, spacious, and the daily cleaning was thorough with my room looking good as new each day, in an era where good enough is often the standard. I was made to feel at home, and accommodated for at every turn. Will definitely look to stay here again."
